Comprehensive Support — From First Bell to Last Pickup

The cafeteria at Académie Marie-Claire has become something of a legend among our families. Every day, the school’s own cooks prepare fresh, balanced, and genuinely delicious meals from scratch. There are no pre-packaged lunches here.

Every student receives a full hot lunch — an entrée, a main course, and a dessert — as well as an afternoon snack. Menus rotate weekly and are designed to balance nutrition with appeal. Many students count lunch as one of their favourite parts of the school day. 

At the end of the school day, teachers are available to work directly with students on homework and lesson review. This is not a generic study hall — it is supervised, subject-specific academic support offered by the same specialists who taught the material in class.

For families who want to ensure their children stay on top of their work and arrive home with their assignments done, this service is invaluable. It is also a reflection of the Academy’s philosophy: support does not end when the bell rings. 

Daycare service is available every school day until approximately 6:30 PM, staffed by qualified and experienced educators. Care is also provided on pedagogical days, ensuring that working parents have consistent, trustworthy coverage throughout the school year. 

Each year, Académie Marie-Claire provides every family with a detailed supply list specific to their child’s grade level. Each list includes item descriptions, recommended brands, quantities, and pricing — so there is no guesswork involved. 

Supply lists are distributed at the start of the school year. Enrolled families can also access their child’s current list at any time through the Pluriportail.

For added convenience, supplies can be ordered directly through the school. Contact the administration office for details. 

All students at Académie Marie-Claire are required to wear the complete school uniform. The uniform reflects the school’s values of focus, pride, and equality — and for most families, it makes the morning routine considerably simpler.

The uniform differs by gender and grade level. Mandatory items include the navy blazer, age-appropriate shirt or blouse, and relevant bottoms. A separate physical education uniform is required for gym class. Optional items such as the cardigan are also available.
